  8. Description             : The best thing about these levels is they're fairly
  9.                                 straight-forward.  That is there's no find 
  10.                                 the key, spend 20 minutes looking for where
  11.                                 to use it, 20 seconds of death-dealing, find 
  12.                                 a secret switch and so on.  That's not to say 
  13.                                 that this kind of level doesn't have its 
  14.                                 place, it does, but i don't design that.  
  15.                                 I've had enough of that from DOOM II.
  16.                           These levels (i think) are original.  I haven't 
  17.                                 really played anything like them.  Anyway, 
  18.                                 please see what you think, and let me know.

  26.                           OK.  You were one of the unlucky ones, you weren't
  27.                                 killed.  Trying to rid that sector of Caco-
  28.                                 demons was useless, and you knew it.  Command
  29.                                 HQ knew better and sent you in at the head of
  30.                                 a bunch of inexperienced soldiers, most of 
  31.                                 them useless.  All are dead. Except one who
  32.                                 was captured. You.

  34.                           They've got you bricked up in a small room.  You      
  35.                                 thought you had an idea why.  After you found 
  36.                                 the pistol there you knew why.  Rumors had
  37.                                 infiltrated back to base that the Cacodemons
  38.                                 liked to play soldier bating with any captured
  39.                                 soldiers.  You know what's in store.
  40.  
  41.                           A feeling wells up in your gut you know to be fear.
  42.                                 You look at the tiny weapon in your hand and
  43.                                 groan.  You'll be lucky to take out one. All 
  44.                                 is lost.  You wait for death.
  45.  
  46.                           Visions of those red bastards killing killing killing
  47.                                 roar through your mind, slowly enraging you to
  48.                                 accept the inevitable.  Surfacing through 
  49.                                 these thoughts of death, however, is another 
  50.                                 thought, revenge.  Not with a pistol.  You'd
  51.                                 walk through hell for a shotgun.  Maybe you
  52.                                 will...

  54.                           NOTE:-  Level 3 is a bit more unprofessional than
  55.                                   the rest.  It originally was a DOOM level.
  56.                                   It's good however.  SO PLAY IT!!  Play them
  57.                                   all.  You'll feel better.

  75. Difficulty Settings     : Kind of, settings 1 & 2 i used for playtesting so

  80. Demos Replaced          : Err, i didn't have time to find something to let me 
  81.                                 replace the demos, i have however included a
  82.                                 separate demo of level 1 if you get stuck. To 
  83.                                 run it get in your DOOM2 directory and type:

  85.           doom2 -file <path of WAD dir>\higher.wad -playdemo level1.lmp

  87.                                 at the prompt.  If you keep your WADs in the 
  88.                                 DOOM2 directory, then u can omit the WAD path.
  89.                                 I think you have to have the lmp's (demos) in
  90.                                 your DOOM2 directory.

  93.                                 how to add lmp's to a wad i'd be very happy

  99. Known Bugs              : Level 4 rarely crashes with a RMapPlane<?> error. 
  100.                                 Dunno why. Maybe its cos i have ceiling
